For a long time I had wanted to keep my own words in one place. Some stories only live in memory, and I thought that if I wrote them down they might be useful to someone else too. That’s how this blog, Uponnas, started.
Why “Uponnas”?
Uponnas is the Bangla word for novel. I think every life is one. It has laughter, tears and chapters that change direction without warning. Here I’ll write some of those chapters. Sometimes the story of a tree, sometimes of a morning, sometimes of a road far away.

Most posts are written in Bangla first, and almost all of them are in English too. Use the language switch at the top to move between the two, and turn on dark mode if you read at night.
